Wedgie2 INDEX Wedge Kit

This complete Wedgie2 kit features the super flexible INDEX wedge that is designed for ARRI, SmallHD, and general purpose applications.

This wedge features a unique 8 sided insert that has either ARRI or SmallHD compatible anti-twist pins on one side and smooth on the other. No more twisting!

The smooth side allows you to attach the wedge to any device with 1/4″-20 or 3/8″-16 threads.

The insert can lock into 8 positions which allows the user to orient the wedge in a way that makes the most sense, avoiding connectors and other accessories.

Your choice of reduced head 1/4-20 x 1/2″ or 3/8-16 x 1/2 screws

15 years ago we designed a quick release for Cinema Camera accessories. It has become ubiquitous on sets worldwide allowing users to quickly mount and release countless accessories. Even sound mixers, DIT’s, aircraft pilots, and more have found uses for the Wedgie.
The all-new design has taken this concept up to the next level. We designed a novel ball lock mechanism that ensures the payload is very rigid, yet always easy to release. The bottom of the receiver is solid, no more cover plate. You get a durable and flat mounting surface.

The base has a new magnetic accessory system that allows various low profile add-ons that allow the user to mount the Wedgie2 anywhere. We have already designed a number of snap-on base adapters for ARRI anti-twist, SmallHD monitors, and more.

The Wedgie2 is NOT compatible with my original design sold and marketed as CineLock by 16×9, Inc. and copied by numerous other companies. The original design is prone to being either too loose (rattling) or too tight (gets stuck). The Wedgie2 solves these issues while also providing additional features that allow rapid adaptation to various devices.
